Our virtual instruments and mobile software are built upon an unyielding commitment to bloat-free, subscription-free creative utilities. From physical organ modeling and custom Rust DSP engines to advanced polyphonic waveform chopping, every software unit from Ancient Apparatus is engineered autonomously for zero-latency reliability, raw character, and immediate inspiration.
"Rigid systems. Sonic chaos. Our instruments are engineered to stay out of the way of your spark."
Technical Support & Inquiries
If you encounter technical issues, host plugin state bugs, DSP buffer anomalies, or wish to submit architectural feedback across our virtual instrument suite, please reach out directly:
Response Window: As an autonomous software development studio, please allow 1–2 business days for a direct response from our lead engineer.
Troubleshooting Guidelines: When submitting bug reports, please include your host DAW/environment (AUv3 Host, VST3 Host, or Standalone), operating system version, and exact steps to reproduce the DSP or interface issue.
Data Sovereignty & Project Archives
In accordance with our strict local-first engineering architecture:
Data Ownership: All project data, recorded sample buffers, rendered master audio, custom presets (`.xml`), and scene structures remain stored strictly on your local device hardware. Ancient Apparatus LLC does not possess access to your work or creative IP.
Backups & Recovery: Because we refuse to store your creative assets on central cloud servers, we cannot remotely restore lost tracks or corrupted presets. We strongly recommend backing up your local Documents directory (`/ChopNChainPresets`, `/ChoppedPresets`, etc.) or keeping regular OS-level device backups.
