This Privacy Policy outlines the universal data handling practices across our entire suite of virtual instruments, synthesizers, and audio utilities (including Saws All, Radio Organ, Slice-N-Dice!, Chop-N-Chain!, and associated mobile or AUv3/VST3 applications). Our core engineering philosophy is absolute privacy: no ads, no telemetry, and zero data collection.
The Short Version
No Personal Data Collection: Your identity, personal contact information, and location are never collected, stored, or transmitted.
No Tracking or Analytics: Our instruments contain zero background telemetry, crash reporters, user tracking scripts, or analytics SDKs.
No Advertising: There are no third-party ad networks, tracking pixels, or monetization scripts integrated into any of our software.
Local System Execution: All synthesis engines, digital signal processing (DSP), sample buffer management, and visualizer rendering run entirely on your local device hardware.
Device Permissions & System Architecture
To operate as professional standalone audio applications or AUv3/VST3 plug-in instances, our instruments may request specific device permissions. Any data accessed remains strictly local and is never transmitted off your device.
Local Storage & File System Access: What it does: Interfacing with native folder pickers and local file storage.
Why it is needed: Enables importing external audio samples (WAV, MP3, AIFF), loading custom presets (`.xml` or `.json`), saving user configurations, and exporting rendered master tracks or multi-track stems.
Data handling: All audio files and project XML states are read and written locally. The applications never upload or stream your audio files to external servers.
Microphone / Audio Input Access: What it does: Captures live audio input directly from your hardware device or connected soundcard.
Why it is needed: Enables real-time audio sampling, direct waveform recording, and ring-buffer capture in sampling instruments (such as Slice-N-Dice! or Chop-N-Chain!).
Data handling: Live audio is processed purely in local RAM memory or written to local storage. Audio input is never monitored, analyzed, or transmitted externally.
Hardware Sensors (Accelerometer / Motion): What it does: Reads real-time orientation and accelerometer data from mobile hardware.
Why it is needed: Exclusively drives interactive physics elements or motion-controlled UI parameters (such as steering visualizer scenes or modulation triggers).
Data handling: Sensor streams are processed instantaneously for real-time graphics rendering and immediately discarded. No motion data is ever saved or recorded.
Frameworks & Native Dependencies
Our software is built autonomously using low-level, high-performance C++ (JUCE) and Rust DSP audio engines. Standard system APIs (such as native file pickers or system share sheets) are utilized solely to interact with host operating systems. None of these underlying frameworks are configured to monitor user behavior or harvest data.

Should future software updates introduce new capabilities requiring additional system permissions (such as direct network MIDI streaming), this document will be updated immediately to explain the exact mathematical protection and local handling of that feature.
