At Ancient Apparatus LLC, we believe your data is your own. This Privacy Policy dictates how data is handled within the Saws All application. The core philosophy of this app is absolute privacy: no ads, no telemetry, and zero data collection.
The Short Version
No Personal Data: Your personal information is never collected, stored, or transmitted.
No Tracking: There are no analytics, crash trackers, or telemetry scripts running in the background.
No Ads: There are absolutely no third-party advertising networks integrated into the app.
Local Processing: All audio generation, digital signal processing, and visualizer rendering happen entirely on your device.
Device Permissions & Architecture
To function as a professional audio tool, Saws All requires specific device permissions. This data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly share it.
Local Storage / Files: What it does: Requests access to your file system or native folder pickers.
Why it is needed: Allows you to save and load your synthesizer projects, drum sequences, and global scene data (stored as `.json` files). Also required to export your final master tracks and individual stems (as `.wav` files).
Data handling: All files are written directly to your local storage. The app never uploads your files or audio to any external server.
Device Sensors (Accelerometer / Gyroscope): What it does: Reads real-time motion data from your device's hardware sensors.
Why it is needed: Used exclusively to drive the interactive physics in the visualizer screens (e.g., steering the car in Synthwave Outrun or moving the character in Rain Dodge).
Data handling: Sensor data is read instantaneously for UI rendering and immediately discarded. It is never recorded, saved, or transmitted.
Third-Party Services
The app utilizes standard Flutter packages to function natively (such as tools for picking files, sharing audio, and rendering fonts). None of these packages are used to collect data, serve advertisements, or monitor your usage behavior.
Policy Updates
If new features are added that require additional device permissions (such as microphone access for live sampling), this policy will be updated to reflect exactly how that data is used and mathematically protected.
